Providing premium windows and doors to the education sector allows them to add an element of safety and efficiency to the schools.
The brief
In the popular Anthracite Grey finish, we installed Alitherm 800 casement windows and aluminium thermal doors to this educational building in Southampton. In addition to the window and door renovation, we completed a few repairs and maintenance work for some of the doors. The thermal break windows and doors provide an extra layer of insulation from heat and cold conduction making them an excellent sustainable and responsible choice for a school.
For one of the schools we used fire-rated Aluprof windows which meant in the event of an emergency the windows would have a higher resistance to heat, reducing the risk of potential hazards. These projects for educational settings are always on a strict time limit. Work usually takes place during school holidays whilst the students are away from school, therefore the project has to be completed on time in preparation for the end of the term. Our skilled team work hard to complete the projects to a professional standard every time!
